Burgler near Squirrel Run

Our neighborhood has recently been terrorized by a burgler .  He goes into homes while the homeowners are there.  The burgler was becoming increasingly bolder coming into the neighborhood every other nite.  This is just to inform "You" Mr. burgler that we are on to you.  A suspect was recently apprehended and the suspect was a policeman from St. Martinville.  There was not enough evidence to keep him but it's just a matter of time before he slips up again.  Just beware that our neighborhood is watching.

I didn't know i was going to be verbally attacked because I didn't think ya'll had enough. While his actions were suscipious it was not enough to say it was him. So why narrow the scope of your investigation? "

Secondly I do have a knowledge of the law, do have knowledge of weapons, and I believe in our second amendment freedom of religion. Did you intellectual giants realize that you need to call your local law enforcement if someone is in your yard. That is ALL you can do. You can not make a citzen's arrest nor can you shoot him. Isn't it funny the burglaries in your area stopped right when the narcotics agent was picked up? "

After doing a little research on all the topics I have concluded that To the uninformed could possibly be our man. He comments about the law, gun and takes offense about Muslims. If you don't believe me check them yourself. At least this gives us something to go on and helps us to understand the only way to deal with someone like him. Watch your backyard and do whatever is necessary. "

You make fun of the people in that neighborhood but you keep coming in the forum and making your comments. Maybe you should just stay away and leave everybody alone. Oh and about our "so called Mob Mentality" isn't it you who said to get a Glock 40? "

I just point out your LACK of reasonable judgement and you become defensive. I will never agree with your mob type mentality. Like I have said previously I hope the crime stops, however until that day be careful who you accuse. "

" I love how you steal my handle. You are so witty mystery poster. All I have pointed out is that the vigilantes lack any real evidence to accuse that man and slander his name and defame his character. You better be careful little vigilante as you may commit a crime in your witch hunt. You can only make a citizen's arrest on a felony not a misdemeanor. So you little vigilante had better have knowledge of Louisiana law. At first I was merely pointing out the lack of evidence.,now I am enjoying getting your goat. "

You know if that's what those folks need then I would suggest at the next vigalante party that everyone hug and sing "Kumbyyah." Yes it is a shame those folks were burglarized however are they going to be victims for the rest of their life? No! Get a Glock forty and when the bad man comes in their house again "Put two in his chest and one in his head!" "

All they are doing is venting. Get a life. "

In fact someone I know said that the policeman from St. Martinville has been in trouble with the law before. And by the way I don't care if he's black, white or green I don't want him in my neighborhood. Oh, and being picky about the spelling of bluglar you being so petty, lol "

To the uninformed wrote on Nov 5, 2008 6:34 AM:

" Lol, I have never said he didn't do it. I just merely stated not to rush to judgement based on few facts. You have made your decision based on limited circumstantial evidence and I use the term evidence loosely. I truly hope that your local law enforcement catches who ever is committing those crimes in your area. I think you should keep your mind open to other potiential suspects. While you're looking for that same officer wearing all black, the true criminal may be standing next to you wearing all white. "

To the uninformed wrote on Nov 4, 2008 7:09 AM:

" And one other thing. It also seems to me that you leave out key facts of that case. Which means that you are uninformed and are making a hasty judgement. Now once again I am the first to say if a cop has gone over to the dark side then lets hook and book him. I would be the first to "drum" him outta of the ranks. However law enforcement does not have probable cause (layman's term fair probability) to believe that he committed a crime. "

I am pointing out that he has not been arrrested which means (drum roll please) there is not enough probable cause to arrest him. "

If's quite funny that we have not had any more problems since that incident. Yes you might dress in black but you don't sneak around behind apartments or maybe it's you. "

If he is a crooked cop then by all means put him under the jail, however with what you have posted I doubt it. If one of the victims in this case has identified him how is it he is not arrested? Like I said before lets examine the evidence and not make a rush to judgement. Justice is blind. "

To the uninformed wrote on Nov 2, 2008 3:23 PM:

" I dress in black regularly due to it being my favorite color. Does that make me a criminal? Should people ASSUME that I am up to no good because I dress in black? To me it sounds to be a rush to judgement. If you have such overwhelming evidence how is it he was not arrested? Lets see he had no mask, no gloves, and no burglary tools. If he is indeed the burglary then he is not an intelligent cop because he has to know that he will leave trace evidence on scene without those items! "

Also what was he doing in my neighbors back yard looking into their bedroom window. His girlfriend does not live there. Justice will prevail. We will catch him! "

With all that evidence, an arrest should have been made whether he is a cop or the Pope.
Or.......no one wants to say anything bad about our great local law enforcement? I am a practical person with a simple thought process and do not mean to offend anyone. But if you are on the outside looking in, and all this overwhelming evidence......something is not adding up.
