Burgler near Squirrel Run
By me
Published/Last Modified on Monday, October 27, 2008 11:45 AM CDT
Our neighborhood has recently been terrorized by a burgler . He goes into homes while the homeowners are there. The burgler was becoming increasingly bolder coming into the neighborhood every other nite. This is just to inform "You" Mr. burgler that we are on to you. A suspect was recently apprehended and the suspect was a policeman from St. Martinville. There was not enough evidence to keep him but it's just a matter of time before he slips up again. Just beware that our neighborhood is watching.

Before you say any more, you need to talk to the people who were there. It's funny that since the so called vigilante incident we have no more incidents. I have a feeling that you are the culprit. We are still watching! We will get the last laugh! "

" It is my understanding that one of the local vigalantes were hidden in the bushes. It is also my understanding from an officer on scene that the "suspect" was not hiding in the bushes creeping around like you say.
LOL ..DO YOU WORK FOR THE NEW IBERIA

My initial instincts were right, I should have never posted under this thread. My instincts told me not to post under a thread whose creator cannot spell "BURGLAR"..........
My only relationship with him is through league softball, which is casual at best. "

With all that evidence, an arrest should have been made whether he is a cop or the Pope.
Or.......no one wants to say anything bad about our great local law enforcement? I am a practical person with a simple thought process and do not mean to offend anyone. But if you are on the outside looking in, and all this overwhelming evidence......something is not adding up.
This is only an opinion...... "

If he was spying on his girlfriend what was he doing all over the neighborhood trying to break into peoples' homes. He also stole money out of someone's vehicle. We in the neighborhood know what kind of vehicle he's driving and supposely he is a cop from St. Martinville. His days are numbered, he will be apprehended. will not stand for this, he will be caught. Oh, and by the way I attended the meeting and was very impressed. This is a neighborhood who wants to protect what is theirs "

I promise you, he is no "spy" - This man needs to be caught and STOPPED before he gets gutsy and hurts someone!
I, too, am curious about the meeting. I am very worried for my family after this happened to them. "
