Its funny how some Louisiana citizens condemn Obama for "possibly" being "Muslim", when y'all voted for an INDIAN to be your governor??

Rynellaresident

Alot of people on here have been wrongly accusing Obama as being a "muslim", and it has been proven that he is not. But what has been proven is that YOUR governor is of eastern Indian descent!! He says he is a christian, but if you do his family history you will dig up that most of the people in his family are not!!! He probably has more muslims and buddist and islamics in his family tree than most of you have met in your entire existence! His name is not even "Bobby", he changed it because it was too ethnic sounding. Dont you guys remember how the people of INDIA were celebrating when one of their "own "was  cosidered the first minority to become governor of Louisiana, and the first INDIAN governor in the United States of America!!! My point is that  SOME of you have been a little hippacrytical about the background of Senaor Obama. I will say, that Louisiana is more progressive than most southern states in the fact that we have elected a "foreigner" to be our governor, and before that, we had a woman!!! I would not count Louisiana  out of this election!! We have proven by our voting in the past that we go for what we think will work. So, be informed!! It's your right as an american!!

What is it with you, always picking a fight? Don't you have anything better to do with your time? Your life for that matter. It seems so hard for you to accept that we Cajuns were born here on American soil. Get used to us, Cajun=American, not Arab, Iranian, Iraqie, Mexican..etc. If these people want to be Americans, even though they were not born on our land, they can become naturalized. Quit making Obama out to being one of us! He ain't and never will be until he becomes naturalized. Now, Bobby, he's already a citizen. "

In other words it is possible that Jindal's ancestors may have been muslim. Then again the Brittish Royals are, and for that matter anyone of european descent(cajuns) may have ancestors that were muslim.Bottom line, this is America and ones faith choice should not ever be taken into consideraton to becoming president. There's been a little scuttlebutt about his birth haven taken place elsewhere. My issue with Obama has nothing to do with color but what his spoken intentions are with our country which adds up to socialist/communist ways. That's not freedom, that's a change for the worse. Bobby Jindal is of Indian descent. His parents converted to Catholosicm from Hinduism.
#1 It wasn't Hindus that caused 9/11 or any of the other MUSLIM related attacks.
#2 It's not Hindus that HATE and want to DESTROY any religion but Hinduism.
#3 The fact that you can find background and voting records on Bobby Jindal makes him worlds apart from Barak Obama who won't even produce a Birth Certificate when asked by the Federal Court. Instead he appealed the judge's decision.
    BIG DIFFERENCE. "
