Tommy was born Oct. 14, 1958 to Noah and Rita Romero Hebert and was one of four children.  At the age of 15, he went to work for his father’s business, Red’s Roofing.  In 1977, he married Jeanie Ratcliff and they raised a family.

Tommy has worked with Halliburton for 20 years and was a purchasing agent and the tool room coordinator.  He had a love for the outdoors, and enjoyed duck and deer hunting with his family and hunting buddies.  But it was the love for his wife and family that was greatest, as he and Jeanie just celebrated their 31st Wedding anniversary.  He will be missed dearly.

Tommy is survived by his wife and best friend, Jeanie Ratcliff Hebert; his children, Carla Hebert Bryan and husband Douglas, and Tommy J. Hebert Jr.; his grandchildren that he adored, Morganne and Nicholas Bryan; his parents, Noah and Rita Romero Hebert all of New Iberia; and his brother and sisters, Kenny Hebert of Lafayette, Katharina Trahan and husband Damon of Maurice, and Trudy Dugas and husband Dale of Ville Platte.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robbley and Florence Romero Menard and Noah and Clothilde Hebert.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Hebert Jr., Douglas Bryan, Errol Derouen, Wayne LeBlanc, Allen Duplantis, Lannie Buteaux, Garrett Dugas and Kenny Hebert.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Bryan, Terry and Ken Ratcliff, and Tony Neuville.
