Dore and Migues

Lacey Louise Dore and Coy Matthew Migues were married Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Dore of New Iberia and the groom is the son of Mr. Danny Migues and Ms. Rosslyn D. Migues of Delcambre. For her wedding, the bride wore a strapless, silhouette, ivory-colored gown made of taffeta.  The bodice featured silver embroidery and crystal beading and the skirt was gathered on one side creating a draped effect. It was followed by a chapel length train. The edges of her two-tiered ivory-colored veil were trimmed with crystals, seed beads and glass beads. She carried a bouquet done in an autumn pallet with hydrangea, mini calla lilies, pincushion proteas and safari sunset and orchids. Nicole Claire Dore served her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erika Migues Landry, sister of the groom, Jenee Delahoussaye Dore, Jill Marie Frederick and Megan Margaret Stafford. They each carried a bouquet of antique hydrangea, pincushion protea, spray roses and maple leaves. Alexis Louise LeBlanc and Brooklyn Grace Foreman both served as flower girls and Cullen Joseph Landry served as ring bearer. Jace Christopher Migues served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Brian James Pool, Nicholas Joseph Landry, brother-in-law of the groom, Shaney Nelson Dore, brother of the bride, and Zack Joseph Renard. Grant Nelson Broussard and Jorey Davis Renard served as ushers. A reception was held at Rip Van Winkle Gardens. Following a Caribbean cruise, the couple will reside in Broussard.
