After debate, still on fence

Well I watched the final Presidential debate. I sure am glad that is over, but I’m still a little unsure as to who will get my vote.

The Republican candidate says that the Democratic candidate will raise our taxes, but the Democrat says, ‘No way José.’ Then the Democrat says that the Republican will raise taxes and Mr. Republican says, ‘Aint so.’ This goes on and on about many issues. This is politics as usual from my standpoint.

They’re both experts at skirting around the truth and are both convincing at saying that they are for the little man, and yes both are effective liars, in my opinion.

I feel that I’ll be voting for the lesser of the two evils, by looking at their past records, not necessarily for the best man.

Like everyone, I do want change, but change for the better, so I’d like to also look at the Vice President running mates.

First the Democratic guy. Naa! Politics as usual.

Next the Republican running mate, you know, the lady from Alaska! You want change, brothers and sisters, that’s change! She is a young, fresh thinking person, not afraid to go after what is right for America no matter whose toes are stepped on.

I liken her to Harry S. Truman and Ronnie Reagan. She is more likely to give this country hope for the future and pride in being an American. She is what America should be, not what is has become.

With all that said, there is one thing that really helps me in deciding how to cast my vote. I’ll have to enlist the help of the terrorists and those that hate Americans and everything that we stand for. Yes that’s right, the man that they would like to see as our president is definitely NOT the man that I would vote for.

I think the wind is blowing me toward the Republican side of the fence.

As Earl Pitts would say “Wake-Up America!”
