Mrs. LeBlanc a native and resident of Erath died at 7:15 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She taught elementary education and was a librarian for over 31 years before she retired; was a member of Vermilion Parish Retired Teacher Association; a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary; and was known for enjoying crocheting, embroidering, doing puzzles, word searches, and reading her newspapers.
She is survived by her husband, Edward “E.J.” LeBlanc of Erath; a daughter, Mary Catherine LeBlanc and her husband Leewood of Abbeville; a son, Carroll “Bubba” LeBlanc and his fiancée Nancy Pere’ of Erath; seven grandchildren, Keith Leblanc, Keisha Broussard, Ashley Hauser, Kipp LeBlanc, Shaina LeBlanc, Heather LeBlanc, and Nikki LeBlanc; a step grandson, Kevin Leblanc; and a great grandchild, Brock Broussard.

Serving as pallbearers will be Carroll “Bubba” LeBlanc, Kipp LeBlanc, Allan Hauser, Leewood J. LeBlanc, Keith LeBlanc, and Carl Broussard.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Norris Baudion, Paul Ed Broussard, and Dr. Corbett LeBouef.
