Rynold P. Perkins JEANERETTE — Funeral services will be conducted for Mr. Rynold Perkins, 60, on Saturday Oct. 4, 2008 at 11 a.m. At Morning Pilgrim Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charles Moncriffe officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Rynold Postel Perkins died on Mon. Sept. 29, 2008, at his residence. His death was sudden and unexpected. He was born in Jeanerette, on March 14, 1948, to Postel Perkins and the late Agnes Johnson Perkins. A graduate of F.M. Boley High School and Southern University. Rynold worked in sales, real estate and other entrepreneurial endeavors in California and Nevada. He was noted for his sales ability and received numerous awards, at local, state and national levels. Rynold was the apple of his mothers’ eye. He was baptized at Boyton Chapter Methodist Church, he continued to be a passionate student of the bible throughout his life. Music was his first love. Rynold played the piano and the saxophone. His friends could always count on him to join them at sporting events or a game of dominoes. He is survived by Father Postel Perkins of Lafayette, Six daughters, Adrien of Houston, Sherri, Terri, Kalisa and Starlet of the San Francisco Bay, CA area, Janet of Lafayette; Four Granddaughters, Araya, Zareyah, Sheridan and Nicole. One Sister; Sherry and her husband Thomas Brown of Lafayette, and their sons, Courtney; Vaughn and his wife Zerinah and their daughters, Ammanah and Nurayah of Atlanta and Marcus, and his wife Yvette and their children Andrew, Alexander and Ayden of Lafayette. Uncle; Ceary Johnson of Texas City and a host of cousins. His Mother Agnes Johnson Perkins maternal grandparents Manner and Leanna Johnson, fraternal grandparents Ellison and Lonia Braxton Johnson preceded him in death. Active Pallbearers will be, Marcus L. Brown, Vaughn M Deen, Courtney C. Brown, Leroy Hensley, Cleveland Jones, Berwick Moore. Honorary Pallbearers, Thomas H.
