Donald J. LaGrange Jr.

Donald John LaGrange Jr. 46, a native of Franklin and a resident of Abbeville, died, Monday, Sept. 15, 2008, at 2:33 a.m. at University Medical Center in Lafayette.

Mr. LaGrange is survived by his mother, Helen Peré LaGrange of Lafayette; four sisters Julie LaGrange Bradford of Lafayette, Elizabeth LaGrange Guillotte of Franklin, Susan LaGrange Duplantis of Lafayette and Jill LaGrange of Lafayette; two nieces, Kristian LaGrange and Jessica Credeur; two nephews, Ryan LaFleur and Cory “C.J.” Duplantis.                                                                                                                                                                                               

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald John LaGrange Sr.

The family requests that memorial visitations be held Friday Sept. 19, 2008, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Ibert’s Mortuary.

The Memorial Service will be held Friday at Ibert’s at 11 a.m., with Rev. Pres Riley officiating. Burial of his remains will be held at a latter date.                                    

Mr. LaGrange was a 1979 graduate of Hanson Memorial High School, he attended Nicholls State University and The University of Southwest Louisiana. He was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and Zeta Omega Chapter of ULL. He was a former member of The Franklin Jaycees, Louisiana Cattle-man’s Association, Franklin Volunteer Fire Department and the Boy Scouts.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary Inc. of Franklin.
