WEST END ????

Has someone lost their mind or is it a way to STOP people from going for food stamps. I sure could use the help, but I also want to have my safety. Why was West End Park picked as a sight to distribute food stamp vouchers? That is the highest area of crime in the city, stabbings, rape, shooting and drugs. Do you seriously want to endanger our people by sending them there or is it that you are trying to discourage us from getting stamps or possibly because the people of that area would protest it being anywhere else. If it is because you don't want to bring the trouble makers out of their comfort zone I'm all for that, but why not have two places to distribute stamps. If it stays there I guess you win because I will not endanger myself for food.

With that many people around do you actually think anyone is stupid enough to try anything. They had to find a place big enough to do this. That is what i was told on friday when i asked a lady that works at the food stamp office when and where. Everyone in line was polite. The only problem we had was people getting there at 8 and trying to cut. That was handled. "
