Evelyn M. Jeanlouis Loreauville — A Mass of Christian Burial for Evelyn Margaret Jeanlouis, 63, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Loreauville, with Rev. Paul Ognuebe, celebrant. She will be laid to rest in Saint Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Loreauville. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass. A native of Loreauville and resident of Houston, Ms. Jeanlouis passed on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008 at Courtyard Convalescent Center in Houston. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Ms. Jeanlouis was a graduate of Grambling State University and was employed by the Lafayette Parish School Board as an educator. She leaves in God’s care, one brother, James Jeanlouis of Loreauville; three sisters, Mildred J. Howard of Houston and Jeanette Alexander (Robert) and Rhona Robinson (Thomas E.), both of Chicago and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She joins in glory, her parents, Burgess and Clementine Castillo Jeanlouis; two brothers, Alvin Jeanlouis and Oscar Jeanlouis and two sisters, Rose J. Doucette and Florence Mack. Active pallbearers will be Carl Jeanlouis, Roland Jeanlouis, Alvin Jeanlouis Jr. Aaron Jackson, Joseph Jackson and Richardo Jeanlouis. Honorary pallbearers will be immediate family members.
