Dirty politics in Jeanerette Marshal race

HAHAHAHA!  Steve FAlterman gets his lackey to file a suit against Ronald Bourque, his competitor in the Jeanerette Marshal race. Steve and Ronald worked togther when Ronald was with Jeanerette PD. Didn't he know any better? Ronald worked for JPD over 20 years. Don't you think his high school and GED records would have surfaced by now?  Steve: You gotta be running scared to pull a stunt like this. I'm glad to see the courts throw out such frivilous stunts. I just wish they would make you pay out of your own pocket the court costs, and reimburse Ronald for his expenses too! Get ready Steve, the best you can ask for is a run-off with one of your opponents. Then you are a gone-pecan. And take those "Iberia Parish Marshal" cars with you. If you are embarrassed to be Jeanerette Marshal, then we don't need you!

Martin was supported by not only the superintendant and the board members, but also the parents and the students involved. It's obvious they love him and respect him. Stop the lies and just run the race.Notice Martin or his family never responds to any of this. I ask Martin what he thinks about the rumors, his response "If God Is For me who can be against me.I'm simply trusting God!" "

Has it ever occurred to you that Mr. Martin simply provided a friend/co-worker a ride home after his bail was posted?? And finally, what does the bail situation has to do with this thread? "

Now that is interesting that he bailed that principal out of jail. Not sure what this says of his character. Hmmmmmm....interesting. Are people in Jeanerette paying attention? I sure do hope so! Thank you again! "

The answer is NO. He is not going to do anything that he will not get paid for.

If Ronald was a good police officer with education why was he never police chief. "

Is this Fernest Martin man the same man that is running for Jeanerette City Marshall that was seen slapping these students in the head? If so, he broke the law. It is illegal to hit these kids. Although they probably needed it, it is still illegal. Also, the deputies that witnessed this man hitting these students should have placed charges against this man for battery. Just my take on the situation. "

I personally have encountered people like her, who deal with the public, and I find it insulting and unecessary. So I can understand if these people don't vote for him because of her. After all she does work in his office and it appears that she speaks for him because of that. Oh well, we will see who wins. "

I hear even out in public she expects nothing less than the red carpet laid out for her and Stephen. I know he is not like that at all, but she give the impression that he is. He needs to realize that in campaigns the wife very much assessed and voted on. Look at the presidential election, case and point. It's a little late for her to/change. "

Both Mr. Martin and Mr. Bourque have handled police calls in my neighborhood that I witnessed when they worked for the JPD. With the problems and issues we are facing in Jeanerette, I believe an explosive combination would be to have Mr. Martin as our Police Chief and Mr. Bourque as his second in command. But until pay is addressed it won't happen. "

My own opinion, Steven is more professional and knowledgable when it comes to the City Marshal's position. He has changed that office to a more modern, professional, pro-active department, which also serves the area outside of Jeanerette. I don't believe anyone can do better so I'm sticking with Steven.
