“We’re getting information from Lafayette P.D. in relation to the incident that took place,” Grogan said. “We’re going to look at it, and we’re going to reinterview him to cover some bases.”
City Pharmacy and Home Medical was robbed at 12:55 p.m. Dec. 26 after an employee was forced to hand over 200 pills of the painkiller Lortab in one container and a few generic drugs in another container.
Sabrita Collins, owner of City Pharmacy and Home Medical, said the robber stayed in the store about eight to 10 minutes.
“He asked some medical questions and then pulled out a gun and demanded the drugs,” Collins told The Daily Iberian in December. “He did not take any money, just the drugs.”
Mouton said law enforcement agencies in Sunset, Carencro, Port Barre, Cecilia, Arnaudville, Kaplan, Eunice, Morgan City, Maurice, Crowley, Bunkie and Slidell are working toward bringing additional charges of armed robbery against Mahne.
In addition to robbery charges, the Lafayette Police Department charged Mahne with possession with intent to distribute Schedule II narcotics and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.
Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Wendall Raborn this morning said his department is looking into a possible connection wih Mahne and the Thrifty Way Pharmacy on Center Street in New Iberia, which was robbed Nov. 24.

What's up, Jack?
Can't he come over to YOUR house and play?
Hello, Jack?
Ha, Ha, Ha! Just as I thought!
So, in my opinion, are you a "victimizer" Jack, or just a "bleeding heart Liberal"? "

I've got an idea! Maybe he could be sent up before Judge Wattiny (sp?), and he could let him out on bail. For maybe $100 dollars!
Then you can volunteer to take this "poor boy" {not a "racial"slur!}in. You can be the first(?) to try to rehabilitate him{Ha,HA}!
Oh, wait a minute. It is only, what, almost 20 different towns that want to research this guy? By golly, he must be helped!
After all, HOW MANY VICTIMS did he leave behind? Tortured by HIS assault into their quiet world!
Of course, all of this is "alleged"? "

Why not try to help the victims? They are the ones in need of the help! They are more likely to be left out of the criminal justice process!
NO ONE is there to help them! And if they seek the help they need, who do you think is going to pay for it? YES the victim is victimized again!
Jack, have you or a family member ever been victimized? I'll guess NO! Either that, or you are a victimizer, and you feel for him! For-that-is-the-only-way-you-can-say-what-you-say!! "

WHAT-are-you-thinking? Are you for real? Sending him to prison is the FIRST thing that should be done, in my opinion!
You-cannot-calculate-the-torment-of those who spent 8-10 minutes with a gun pointed at them!
Read what "victim" had to write! Their "sense of security" is gone, not being able to get a full night of sleep, AND possibly needing therapy!
This is only a SMALL portion of what survivors have to deal with! That incident-WAS-a "life-changing-event"!
Others may have different effects, but it all goes back to the one incident! "
