Comeaux and Duett Heidi Nicole Comeaux and Jake Scott Dueitt were married Friday, June 27, 2008 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard. The bride is the daughter of Tim and Jodie Comeaux of Broussard. The groom is the son of Scott and Toni Dueitt of Lafayette. Officiating at the 7:30 p.m. Nuptial Mass was the Rev. Floyd J. Calais. For her wedding, the bride wore an ivory-colored strapless gown, accented with rich satin buttons. The gown was embellished with alencon lace appliqués on tulle overlay and adorned with a selection of beads, pearls and sequins. The fitted, flared skirt flowed into the chapel-length train. For her bouquet, she carried a garden cascade of white and ivory-colored roses, accented with larkspur blooms and seasonal fillers and her maternal grandmother’s rosary tucked into the bouquet. Rachel C. Brodie served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tameka G. Hartzog, Amber G. Robert, Lynette Landry, Emily Landry and Lacie Robichaux, cousin of the bride, Jency Dueitt, sister of the groom, Amy Broussard and Sara Sinitiere. Holli Comeaux, sister of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid. They each wore a toffee-colored, strapless, a-line gown of taffeta, with an asymmetrically draped bodice at the front and back. They each carried a garden cluster bouquet of red roses and red tea roses. Marielle Robichaux, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl. Jett Dueitt served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Dennis Skains, Daniel Gautreaux, Chad Farris, Kim Hebert, Kevin Blanchard, Kevin Montz, Lonny Landry and Steve Rachal. Ushers were James Robert Jr. and Tate Guillotte. A reception was held for family and friends at Hilton Towers in Lafayette. Following a wedding trip to Playa de Carmen, Mexico, the couple will reside in Lafayette. |
