Mosquito district to have aerial spraying

The Iberia Parish Mosquito Control District will conduct aerial operations this evening, weather permitting, beginning 30 minutes before sundown and lasting about two hours.

The operations will include areas near and surrounding the Port of Iberia, U.S. 90 to the Port of Iberia and Avery Island Road to Weeks Island Road and Lydia, U.S. 90 to just South of Bayou Jack and Weeks Island Road east to Weeks Canal.

During the operations, only hypersensitive residents in the designated spray area should refrain from outdoor activities.For more information, contact 365-4933. For information after office hours, contact Director Herff Jones at 380-7140.
