YOUNGSVILLE — A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Youngsville, for Mr. Mark Gerard Landry, age 48, on Friday, July 18, 2008, at 10 a.m.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, July 17, 2008, at noon until 9 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday, July 18, 2008, from 8 a.m. to services. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Broussard.

A native of Franklin and a resident of Broussard, Mr. Landry passed away on July 16, 2008, at a local hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. Mark left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be sadly missed by his loved ones and all his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Reeves Landry of Broussard; daughters Katherine “Katie” Landry and her fiancee Matt Enox, of Coteau, and Maggie Ann-Marie Landry of Broussard; a granddaughter, who was the love of his life, Arianna Michelle Landry of Coteau; brothers Lou Allen Landry and his wife, Mary, of New Iberia, Jeffery John Landry Jr. and his wife, Theresa, of Franklin and Brian John Landry of Broussard; sisters Jenny Foreman and her husband, Larry, of Lafayette, Barbara Charpentier of Baldwin, Janell Breaux and her fiancee Ed Gross, of Broussard, Gloria Cormier and her husband, Bob, of Lafayette, Myrtle “Sis” Vincent and her husband, Franklin, of Maurice and Gladys Broussard of New Iberia.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jeffery John Landry Sr. and Beulah Landry; brother Harold J. Landry; sisters Barbara Romero and Rita Nell Landry Conrad.

Pallbearers will be Brian Landry, Jeffery Landry, Todd Hebert, Kendall Haydel, Lou Landry and Ricky Saucier.
