A native and resident of New Iberia, Tashanna passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans.
Visitation will be held from 7 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in the St. Edward Catholic Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her mother, Melvina Ambrose of New Iberia; father, Michael Williams of Jeanerette; three sisters Tamika Jones (Francis Jr.) of Lafayette, Tenesha Ambrose (fiancé LaSana) of Baton Rouge and Kimya Babers of Hammond; paternal grandfather, Roger Williams of Jeanerette; special friend Dane Sam of Lafayette; stepbrothers Malcolm Lively and Michael Williams Jr., both of Jeanerette; stepsisters Marissa Lively and Megan Lively, both of Jeanerette; two nephews Sebastian Jones and Simeon Jones; one godchild Sophie Jones; maternal grandmother Willie Mae Ambrose of New Iberia; special grandmother Anita Harris of New Iberia; godparents Edith Orphe and Michael Thomas; two nieces Sydney Ambrose and Sophie Jones; a pet who was like a child Mr. Jinx; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister Tazbane Norman; paternal grandmother, Nancy Williams; and maternal great-grandparents Amos and Melvina Ambrose.
Pallbearers will be Clarence McCoy, Jeremy Jenkins, Jeramie Bonnie, Dwayne Ambrose, Albert Placide and Kevin Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Norman, Francis Jones Jr., Dane Sam, LaSana Cambrice, Leonard Ambrose and Alfred Raymond.
