LOREAUVILLE —  Funeral services will be held for Mary Denise Zacharie, 40, at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with the Rev. Paul Onuegbe officiating. Interment will follow in the All Saints Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until time of service with a rosary recited at 9 a.m. at Fletcher Funeral Home.

A native and resident of Loreauville, Ms. Zacharie died Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Iberia Medical Center at 3:45 a.m.

She was a 1986 graduate of Loreauville High School and was formerly employed as a cable technician at Besco in Loreauville.

She is survived by her parents,  Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Zacharie Sr. of Loreauville; daughters, Deshayla Zacharie, Kuinesha Zacharie, Dante Zacharie and Kalani Thompson all of Loreauville; brothers, Lawrence Zacharie Jr. (Sandra) of Loreauville, Eric Zacharie of Loreauville,  Kenneth Zacharie (Bridget) of Cade, John Zacharie (Debra) of St. Martinville, Kevin Zacharie of Atlanta; Troy Zacharie (Crystal) of New Orleans and Christopher Zacharie (Shonnie) of Atlanta; special brothers, Albert James (Nora Lee) of Loreauville, Preston James Sr. of Loreauville, Willie Zepherin Sr.(Vanessa) of Loreauville and Louis James (Lounetta) of New Iberia; sisters,  Cynthia Johnson, Sylvia Boutte and Cassandra Zacharie (Michael) of Loreauville, Laura Carter (Chris) of New Iberia and Wynne Zacharie (Cluse) of Carencro; grandchild, Jamarion Zacharie of Loreauville; aunts, Geraldine Boutte, Vernice Anthony, Susie Anthony, Diane Julien and Joyce Anthony all of Loreauville and Mable Provost of Beaumont, Texas; uncle, Shelton Zacharie of Loreauville; seven Godchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Zacharie; maternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Willie Thomas; parental grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Goldman Zacharie Sr.; aunt that reared her Mayola James; companion, William Zepherin and several aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be  Kenneth Zacharie, Lawrence Zacharie, Willie Zepherin Sr., Raymond Beals, Willie Zepherin Jr. and John Zacharie.

Honorary pallbearers will be  Lawrence Zacharie Sr., Kevin Zacharie, Christopher Zacharie, Troy Zacharie, Eric Zacharie, Preston James, Albert James, Louis James, Michael Williams, Christopher Carter and John Cluse
