I keep reading the angry articles in regard to Mr. Long's passing. I can understand the pain of losing a loved one and I can respect the grief that Melissa is dealing with, but is it necessary to try to bring down others due to that pain and grief? Judge Wattigny is a wonderful man that is highly respected by many in and outside of New Iberia. It is not going to solve anyones problems or make any case stronger by making statements that disrespect someone in our court system. Could it be because residence didn't want to see a place of business concerning voodoo to come in New Iberia? I just believe that there is more to this then just being mad that someone was released on bond. As for showing up in court without an attorney,  when someone can not afford representation such as Mr. Paul you do what he did. You can't get an attorney unless the court assigns you to that office. So, stop taking steps and throwing mud ahead of the game. Everyone is angry that Mr. Long's life was taken in such a terrible way. The murderers will be punished for there actions. Trying to bring down Judge Wattigny is a waste of time.
