New Iberia "The Most Racist City in America"

Whether it's Barack Obama getting the nomination for the Democratic National Party, recent acts of violence in the city, lifestyle choices, or "Al Sharpton coming to town", the townsfolk of New Iberia, Louisiana find a way to turn the iberianet.com forums into a parade of racial hostility.. I grew up in this great city and I am proud to call it home wherever I reside, but our city's vessel of communication to the rest of the world (the Daily Iberian's online edition) shows us to be a hotbed of bigotry and ignorance...

I am sick and tired of people hiding behind pseudonyms (fake names) and making some of the most outlandish remarks possible about race and then claiming that there are no racist undertones...Stand up and say something positive about other people for a change or make your comments about these subjects without being so blatant in your prejudice...

This forum is open to anyone who has an opinion in the affirmative or negative direction...I want to see if I'm the only one who feels that this is detrimental to the image of New Iberia or if some of these blatant racists would like to defend their "positions"...
