Violence in New Iberia

The past couple of weeks have seen some brutal crimes committed here in our city.  Just today, (Saturday ,June 7th), I was in a local McDonald's Restaurant in the kids section with my two and five year old daughters.  During playtime, the two year old got a little excited and decided she needed to relieve herself on the play structure, no big deal.  She was taken home by my wife and I approached a young, BLACK kid and asked him if he would mind cleaning it up.  His reply, "not a problem sir, I'll get at it in a second".  As I walk back to the kids section, four BLACK kids walk in, probably around the ages of 12-16, sit down and start cursing.  I pay no attention, meanwhile the younger employee comes in to clean up after my daughter.  The older group start to make fun of the young guy for working at McDonald's and cleaning up the pee.  After a few times, this really aggravated me so I stood  up and asked them if any of them had a job and they had no answer.  I told them, why is it that you have to make fun of the guy who is working, making his own money, again no answer, instead, I was called a CRACKER and told to shut up.  The ranting kept on and on in front of my five year old and we decided to leave, I informed management on the way out the door.  NOW, where I come from an ass whipping would have been in store immediately, BUT, I've grown out of that.  However, why is it that the young black community have this grudge on their shoulders?  They feel that the population is racist toward them and yet they feel they can call ME CRACKER?  I don't know, but if you ask me, these younger generations are where the violence begins and they need to learn somehow!!

    I don't find that to be the case at all. I do some work promoting high school football players and I always enjoy visiting Westgate High School.

    I visit high schools around the state from time-to-time and I never get a better reaction than the one I receive right here in New Iberia. The players and coaching staff are predominately black and I almost feel like they are family over there. "

    I attend this McDonald all the time, with my kids. The indoor play ground is good. Kids have accident in this all the time and all the time other kids teases the employee for cleaning it. My kid included with his friends and they are white, I had to make them stop. If I was not there are when I am not there I do not what they are doing. Kids tease kids. All children from ages 12-17 needs Jesus. Black,white and green. ALL "
