Thank You City, School Board and Shane Romero

I would like to thank the Mayor and the city council and the Iberia Parish School Board for not to raising our property taxes.  Both the city and the school board recognize that with the costs of everything rising, many people can't afford to pay more taxes.  Last night, the school board said that the people of Iberia Parish have been good to them and they realize that they must return the favor.  Thank goodness they have both made the right decision for the people of this parish.

I would also like to thank Shane Romero who has been a voice for everyone in the parish so we don't have to pay more property taxes.  He spoke at the city council meeting why the city shouldn't raise our property taxes and he spoke last night on our behalf for the school board not to raise our taxes.  Both the city and the school board listened.  I hope he will continue to speak on our behalf at the parish council meeting and with the sheriff so that they don't raise our property taxes.
