Murders and crime in our city

This is a really scary time in our city, I feel like I am living in New Orleans not New Iberia.  The most recent murder was committed right down the road from my home and he was caught not far from my home.  The sad thing is that the murderer was an illegal immigrant, if the government would be doing their job then perhaps Dennis would still be alive.  And what is the sheriff's department doing to find Kern's killer?  Its scary and I don't like leaving home or letting my teenagers leave home because I don't know if they will make it home or not.  When will law and order be restored to our quiet community?
