ST. MARTINVILLE — Funeral services will be held for Lloyd Fernand LeBlanc, 79, at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church. Intermet will follow in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coteau Holmes.

Visiting hours will be held from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Sunday with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville.

Mr. LeBlanc died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Dauterive Hospital.

    " Loving man, devoted father-grandfather and husband. Uncle Lloyd meant so much to the extended family in New York. My last time with my uncle was in a hugging embrace on a warm spring day with the fragrence of flowers and flowering trees, in the shadows of Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester NY. Myself, my wife (a LeBlanc), our daughter (Sha-baby) and son shared our sorrows, wept, and fondly remember our beloved uncle. So much civility has left this earth with his passing. The deamons that have haunted him for so long have ended too. He and David are one. GodBless. "
