Should NIPD come back

Should the Mayor and city council consider bring back NIPD because of the increase of crime and the Sheriff lack of communication with the Mayor’s office. Yes there may be higher taxes, but it just may be worth it. The current Mayor is not able to contact the Sheriff so that he provide law enforcement services where she needs it (ie radar checks and school officers).
