ABBEVILLE– Funeral services were held for Willa Mae G. Lemaire, 82, Monday at 2 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Gregory Chauvin officiated.  Interment was followed in the Hebert Cemetery.

Visiting hours were held Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lemaire died Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. at Belle Teche Nursing Home in Lafayette.

She is survived by her daughter, Gloria L. Bouillion and her companion Chester Cormier of Delcambre; son in-law, Clyde Terrebone of Delcambre; grandchildren, Dawn T. Lerret and her husband Derrick, Neil Terrebone and his wife Stacey of Delcambre, Natalie T. Wise and husband Greg of West Monroe, Randy Bouillion and wife Nickie of Cow Island and Chad Bouillion and wife Angela of Erath;  great-grandchildren, Jordy, Mindi and Garth Mitchell of Abbeville and  Maci and Nelli from Delcambre; step-great grandaughter, Markie Suire of Cow Island; brother, Calvin Gaspard and wife Mary of Port Arthur, Texas and sister, Mary Lee Simon of Abbeville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “T-Rouge” Lemaire; daughter, Maudrey L. Terrebone; son-in-law, Alden J. Bouillion; parents, Rene Gaspard and the former Alite Hebert and brothers, Dalton, Wilton, Joseph and Preston Gaspard.

Pallbearers were Clyde Terrebone, Neil Terrebone, Randy Bouillion, Derrick Lerret, Chad Bouillion and Jordy and Garth Mitchell.

The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful care she recieved from the staff of Belle Teche Nursing Home.
