    " Cousins,
May it console you to know others care and pray for you.
Frankie (Pick) was my 9th grade English teacher at Henderson, as my teacher and cousin she taught me much more than English. The wisdom and values she shared with me were never forgotten and helped to mold my adult life, she was a beautiful person.
    May God Bless.

" Mrs Singleton taught me Bible Lit in 1978 at NISH. She was always one of my favorite teachers. She was a great teacher, and Christian lady. He who is of a merry heart has a continual feast. Yes....she had a merry heart. All who knew her were touched and blessed. Thanks for the memories. May you rest in the arms of our loving savior, Jesus Christ. Thanks for touching my life. "

I was a student of Mrs. Singleton at Jonas Henderson Sr. High in 1969. She was a strict disciplinary, a great teacher, and most of all a lovely person who impacted my life tremendously.

Rest in peace Mrs. Singleton, you fought a good fight. Servant well done.

" I had the pleasure of working, for a few months, with Mrs. Singleton when I was a teacher at Jeanerette Middle School. Mrs. Singleton came in as a substitute assistant principal when the school was in transition as new administrators were named in early 1992. Mrs. Singleton's constant encouragement at that time helped to solidify my decision to become a school administrator. As a fellow Gramblinite, I am grateful to have had the priviledge of knowing her, if only for a short time. May God bless.
