ABBEVILLE — Services for Frank Eugene Tyler, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Fletcher Funeral Home Chapel in Abbeville with the Rev. Michael C. Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery in Abbeville.

Visiting hours will be held today from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

A native of Maryland, Tenn. and a resident of Abbeville, Mr. Tyler died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at 12:40 a.m. at Maison du Monde Living Center in Abbeville.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his loving companion of 11 years, Mammie Hill of Abbeville; four sons, Paul Tyler, William Tyler, Ricky Gene Tyler and John Tyler all of Spokane, Wash.; two daughters, Connie Tyler and Norma Jean Tyler both of Spokane, Wash.; one step-daughter Veronica Hill of Abbeville; eight grandchildren; two step-grandsons, Merlin Hill and Marlon Hill both of Abbeville; two step-great grandchildren, Malana Hill and Markell Matthews both of Abbeville; a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mammie Henry and two brothers.

Active and honorary pallbearers will be members of the immediate family.

Fletcher Funeral Home of Abbeville is in charge of the arrangements.
