The class of 263 graduates will be led onto the big stage to receive its high school diplomas by co-valedictorians Kenneth Barideaux Jr., Cody Bergeron, Charlie Moore and Theodore Williams III.
Barideaux is the son of Catherine and Kenneth Barideaux and has earned a 4.0 grade point average in the honors program. He was a member of the school marching and symphonic band, the Beta Club, National Honor Society, ring committee and literary rally team. Over the summer, Barideaux participated in the Louisiana Boys State Conference at Louisiana State University.

Bergeron is the son of Ralph and Brenda Bergeron. He has earned a 4.0 grade point average in the honors program. He was member of the Beta Club, Key Club, National Honor Society, Science Olympiad, Healthcare Academy and also participated on the school golf, tennis and football teams.
He has earned several awards while at NISH. Some of those include the American Legion award, the 20 Outstanding Graduates award, Regent’s Scholar award, the President’s Academic Excellence award and the Eddie Sorrel Memorial award. Bergeron was selected by his peers “Most Likely to Succeed” and received first team composite academic all-state and second team all-district honors in football. During the summer of 2006, he was selected to participate in an internship at University Medical Center. A recipient of a LSU Centennial Scholarship, Bergeron will attend LSU this fall and major in biological engineering.
Moore is the son of David and Sherri Moore and has earned a 4.0 grade point average in the honors program. He was an active member in National Honor Society, Beta Club, Spirit Committee, Jacket Assembly, tennis team and the talented music program. This year, Moore was recognized as the Iberia Parish student of the year. Some of his academic awards include Who’s Who Among American High School Students, The Woodmen of the World award, All American Scholar, the 20 Outstanding Graduates award, Regent’s Scholar award and the President’s Academic Excellence award. Moore was recently awarded the LSU Centennial Scholarship and plans to attend LSU in the fall and major in mechanical engineering.
Williams is the son of Jolanda and Theodore Williams Jr. He has earned a 4.0 grade point average and was actively involved in National Honor Society, Spirit Committee, Ring Committee, Ebonaires Club, Black History Committee and the football and powerlifting teams. Williams received the Principal’s Leadership award, the Jim Williams Memorial Scholarship, the 20 Outstanding Graduates award, Regent’s Scholar award and BESE honors award.
Williams has been selected to Who’s Who Among American High School students, National Honor Roll, Venture’s Scholars and National Society of High School students.
A recipient of the Louisiana Stem Research Scholars Program Scholarship and the LSU Centennial Scholarship, he will attend LSU and major biological sciences.
