Registration for the upcoming spring semester at Louisiana Technical College is under way and will conclude Feb. 2, according to Annette Faulk, campus dean.
Registration also is ongoing for students wanting to participate in free training programs such as A/C and refrigeration, carpentry, drafting, machine tool technology and welding.
Faulk said the first day of school is Jan. 16, and the school has openings in all programs except health occupations.
“Currently spring semester registration is coming along very smoothly and, due to the low employment rate, we have a lot of part-time students taking classes at the school. We have a lot of our students working and coming to school,” said Faulk. “This spring will be the last semester for free tuition, supplies and books, because the pathways to construction grant ends in June. I would like to encourage anyone who wants a free skill to come in and enroll for the spring semester.”
Those registering must bring a copy of their birth certificate, Social Security card, driver’s license or identification card and selective service number.

This site is very useful to know about the farming in wet lands. The exhibition conducted by them reveals the idea about farming in wet land to most of the farm owners.
